Some Helpful Information regarding Shipping/Returns Policies

Please Note: shipping rates have been changed to reflect an increase in my costs associated with shipping (ex: boxes, bubble wrap, shipping rates and other adjustments).  I do not benefit from charging higher amounts for shipping, but I do make every effort to share the costs of shipping my candles to you.

If at all possible, arrangements can be made for pick-up or delivery (limited to the areas local to Salisbury Maryland and Sussex County in Delaware) to save shipping costs.

1. Unless otherwise specified elsewhere, the preferred shipper is U.P.S ground.

You can expect your delivery within 2-7 business days after your order has been received, confirmed and processed. You will be notified by email when your order has been shipped and provided with a tracking number. Use the tracking number provided in your email to track your package and keep abreast of the shipping progress. 

** Regarding Expedited Shipments: Expedited Service is offered on IN-STOCK items only. Because of the CUSTOM nature of my candles/soaps, quantities of in-stock items are limited. Whenever possible, items are condensed into as few packages as possible to aid in keeping the shipping costs low.**

** Regarding Re-Fill Service: Shipping costs are SHARED... Meaning that The CUSTOMER is responsible for getting the empty container returned for refill. However, the shipper (Lasair's) will be responsible for shipping the refilled item back to the customer when the order is complete, at NO extra charge to the customer. PLEASE BE SURE that the container you are shipping for refill is a LASAIR'S container. (Lasair's does NOT offer refill service in any competitor's container at this time and reserves the right to refuse any refill request for any reason.) 

2. Shipping costs are calculated on the total dollar amount of order unless otherwise specified.

International Shipping Rates are now offered during the check-out process, for online orders only. Currency exchanges are handled by PayPal and I have no control over them. If you are an international customer and have a question or concern about your shipping rate, please contact  me directly at: tjohnson531@verizon.net   I'll be happy to help sort things out before shipping your order out  (Incidentally, the default delivery time is 1-2 weeks on international orders, but rarely does it take that long!)

3. Lasair's takes every reasonable precaution to prevent incidences of melting/breakage during transit.

However it is NOT GUARANTEED that melting will not occur, due to the nature of candle wax and soap bases. Shipping insurance is available (per UPS shipping policies) by request and any additional cost associated with the shipment of candles/soaps is the responsibility of the customer. REFUNDS/ RETURNS/ EXCHANGES POLICY

RETURNS

1. Returns are accepted on UN-USED items in good re-sale condition only.

2. You MUST contact Lasair's-shop.com's Customer Service Agent (Click here to send email)  in order to obtain a "Return ID Number" BEFORE sending your item back for credit. NO RETURNS WILL BE PROCESSED WITHOUT THIS RETURN ID NUMBER. Please be sure to include the Returns ID number with all correspondence in regards to this return and include it with the item being shipped back. FAILURE TO DO SO WILL DELAY PROCESSING OF YOUR RETURN.

3. All returns with a Return ID Number are processed in the order in which they were recieved and on a weekly basis, so please allow 5-10 business days for a return to be processed before inquiring. ** Items WITHOUT a Return ID number will take longer to process**

REFUNDS

1. In the event a refund is necessary, all refunds are made in the form of payment used when the order was originally filled.

2. Every effort is made to assure your complete satisfaction, however...Refunds are NOT ACCEPTED on items which have been consumed to any degree or which are otherwise not fit for re-sale. A STORE CREDIT is offered for items which are not returnable and not accepted for refund. PLEASE CONTACT ME (CLICK HERE) to discuss refund/exchange arrangements.

3. Because Lasair's is a PayPal-listed business and bound by their Terms and Conditions of use, I am held to the highest standards. As such, you are assured that I will make every reasonable effort to ensure your complete satisfaction.

EXCHANGES

Lasair's will happily make exchanges under the following conditions:

1. Exchanges are accepted on items which do not meet the customer's criteria for quality and craftsmanship as specified on the original order form and ONLY on items NOT CONSUMED TO ANY DEGREE.

2. Return shipping shall be the responsibility of Lasair's , however the cost of shipping a replacement item(s) shall be at the customer's expense and according to the Fee Schedule appearing above.
