Scent List Break-down
Greetings!
I've recently re-worked this page to help you determine the scent(s) most appropriate for your needs. The Scent List is broken down into three categories: "Muted or Soft & Light", Medium and Strong scents. In addition, wherever possible, I've given a description for each scent (based on the whoesale vendor's description) in addition to my own impressions. Scent is a subjective thing though and your experience may differ. (In fact, if you think a particular scent is not adequately described here and your impressions are based on a previous purchase made from this website, why not consider dropping a line? I'd be happy to add your comment(s) to the scent list breakdown in order to aid other customers in making a decision!

On with the Scent List!
Muted Scents
The following scents are very light and muted. You will be able to detect the scent most easily in small rooms where there are not many competing scents from other sources, such as a small bedroom or living room. Setting more than one unit in a room will help establish a scent-coverage area in which the scent is more easily detected without sitting right next to it. It is also helpful to "layer" your sources for the scent by using different a combination of forms, such as a large candle in one part of the room, and perhaps a tart-warmer in another part of the same room.
Lavender/Vanilla- A blend of lavender, sage, and vanilla. This is a deeper, richer, healing scent with soothing contrasts
Blueberry- A light blueberry scent, true to nature
Ginger/Peach- Sweet, strong blend of fresh peach and freshly grated ginger.
Peppermint Patty- A delicious blend of rich chocolate, Brazilian cocoa beans, fresh peppermint and a dash of sugar.
Amish Harvest - A fragrance that is slightly spicy with delicious dried fruit notes.
Sweet Sandalwood- Fresh grains of sensual, warm sandalwood dominate this exotic fragrance. A touch of classic, creamy vanilla adds some sweetness to this mysterious woody wonder aroma.
Love Spell (VS-type)- This is a very romantic scent, mixing light fruit, citrus, and florals. This is a Victoria’s Secret type.
Coconut Milk- This scent is as refreshing as a ripe coconut on a desert island.
Birthday Cake - A special treat for any sweet tooth! Indulge in the aroma of freshly baked cake straight from the oven. Blended with rich vanilla, pure cane sugar, and topped with a smooth and creamy white frosting.
Green Tea- The crisp, rejuvenating scent of green tea is popular in soaps and lotions, but great in candles, too.
Medium Scents
The following scents are what I consider "medium scents" because they fall somewhere between muted and strong. Candles with these scents will scent a larger room using one source and even cancel out some other competing scents already present in the room. Please bear in mind that there are MANY factors which affect the candle's scent release and that exernal factors play a big part in the ability to smell a candle's scent in any area.
Eucalyptus/Mint- Sparkling top notes of eucalyptus define this energizing fragrance . Woody notes along with a soft vanilla musk and vetiver offer warmth during its subtle finish.
Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin- Not the typical scent of "pumkin pie", but rather, sweet pumpkin pie topped with the perfect touch of cinnamon and brown sugar. Freshly whipped cream adds the finishing touches to this fabulous fall fragrance
Lemongrass/Sage- A wonderful blend of garden herbs and sparkling citrus notes. Hearty lemongrass and fresh, earthy sage combine to complete this uplifting fragrance.
Citrus Breezes- Juicy slices of grapefruit, orange, lemon and tangerine mingle with fresh water accords and crisp green notes. It's a bright & sunny citrus scent with a hint of sophistication.
Island Dreams- A nice blend of "fruity" and "floral" reminiscent of the tropics
French Vanilla- A wonderful, sweet-smelling French Vanilla with rich, buttery overtones
Black Raspberry / Vanilla- A wonderful blend of sun-ripened blackberries and creamy smooth vanilla. Smells good enough to eat! A "Bath & Body Works"- Type.
Strawberries &Champagne (VS-Type)- A juicy strawberry aroma with sparkling effervescent champagne, kissed with hints of lily of the valley and fresh apple cider. A classic Victoria's Secret Type fragrance.
Warm Apple Pie- Pleasing baked apple pie notes with hints of sweetness and cinnamon spice. Ready to enjoy! (VERY true-to-nature)
Tangerine/Peach- A refreshingly juicy Yankee Type candle scent! Sparkling tangerine is blended with fresh, juicy peach slices in this deliciously fruity fragrance.
Passionfruit/Guava- (limited quantity currently available) A fun and tantalizing fragrance that explodes with tropical scents! The fruity freshness of crisp lemon zest, Brazilian orange, and grapefruit mingle with sheer guava, sweet granadilla, and peach. The tart, sweet, and soft scent of passion fruit blended with musk and vanilla will awaken your senses
Juicy Pineapple- An abundance of sweet, juicy, chilled pineapple stolen from the Dole Plantation just yesterday
Freshly Brewed Coffee- Wake up with the delicious aroma of freshly brewed coffee with light, chocolaty overtones.
Sunflower- This particular floral is light, fresh, and summery. Sweet, but not too sweet! A masculine floral scent
Ocean - Breathe in the fresh, salty scent of the ocean no matter where you are. Very crisp and clean.
Cabernet Grape- Remember Grape-flavored Koolaid? Yeah... smells JUST exactly like that.. DELICIOUS
Watermelon- This mouth-watering fragrance is fresh and sweet, just like ripe, juicy watermelon wedges.
Key-Lime- This citrus scent presents an energizing balance of zesty, tart, and sweet notes that are true to its name.
"Jamaica-Me-Crazy!"- A refreshing blend of tempting tropical fruits with a twist of citrus and a hint of coconut.
Bold Scents
The following are considered my boldest scents because they smell as strong in solid form as they do while burning... and even after they've cooled again. These scents are the kind which permeate soft surfaces like couch fabrics, curtains etc. when exposed for prolonged periods of time, over repeated burnings. Be sure the scent is one you REALLY love, because you'll be smelling it a long time!
Cherry- A strong cherry scent, with slight almond undertones
Blackberry/Sage- Layer after layer of rich berries effortlessly weave into healing notes of sage and subtle notes of rosemary.
Orange/Ginger- (STRONGLY-scented) Citrus & spice and everything nice! Freshly squeezed oranges kissed with invigorating ginger. A clean, crisp blend that is sure to awaken the senses.
Caramel/Apple Cider- Top notes of gooey caramel wrap around the sweetness of ripe Mcintosh, with a wealth of spices for a deliciously layered effect
Cool Water- Sweet Lavender is harmonized with the cooling effects of the bergamot orange for an enticing aroma! Fresh, clean and masculine
Wildberry- A free-spirited combination of sour cherries, plump blueberries, and ripened raspberries.
Mulberry- Pungent, with a creative balance between sweet and tart. Its effervescent qualities create intriguing sizzling top notes
Bayberry- A traditional favorite for the holidays. Bayberry, while not a coniferous plant, has piney, woodsey, and sweet berry notes that collectively characterize the holiday season
Jasmine- An alluring and sensual floral. The exotic aroma of jasmine helps evoke a romantic mood and is also known to be a stress reliever. Jasmine is delicate, sweet, and flowery.
Lilac- Sweet lilacs are in full bloom as their strong floral scent soothes your inner senses!
Frosted Carrot Cake- Fresh carrot cake with a healthy dose of smooth and creamy frosting
Banana Nut Bread- Banana, walnuts, and bakery notes. Smells unmistakeably like the real thing.
Red Clove- A powerful true clove scent.
Rose Bouquet- Absolutely like a bouquet of fresh roses. Highly potent will make your space smell like your local flower shop.
Cala Lily- More adequately described as smelling like an "Easter Lily" than anything else. Heady floral scent that fills the room easily. Nothing smells more like "Spring-in-bloom".
Patchouli- This is for all you 60's and 70's earthlings! An earthy/woodsy type fragrance oil.
"Spankin' New Leather- This fragrance is so realistic, you’ll want to strap on your best leather boots and go for a ride!
